Newspaper Nails - First Attempt

During my search for new nail art ideas, I often came across "newspaper" nails. I wanted to try it, but didn't know how it was done, and it was not until recently that I discovered how easy it is. Using a tutorial from CutePolish (CutePolish). It is really simple! Generally the color used for the newspaper is an opaque gray, but I did not have a gray at the time, so I used a nice lilac. Any pale colors will go great with the print. The only problem I really had was on my left hand. My ring and pinky finger would not transfer the print, so I had to re-paint them and apply the newspaper while the polish was wet. Anyway, all you have to do is cut up strips of newspaper big enough to cover each nail, paint your nails the base color, take the strips and wrap around the nail, and apply rubbing alcohol until the print has come off. Finish with a top coat. It is similar to applying a temporary tattoo (minus the rubbing alcohol). Speaking of which, these are not real tattoos on my wrists.
