Anyway, here are my Halloween nails for this year:
They are freehand, so the lines are not perfect. This was also my first use of a matte top coat! All of the colors are from Sally Hansen's X-treme Wear line: White On, Sunkissed, Mellow Yellow. The top coat is NYC New York Color's Matte Me Crazy.
On to the swacthes!
This is Pure Ice: Not Now, a deep blue-green with a shimmer finish. Definitely one of my favorite fall colors.
Another Pure Ice, this one is Iced Copper. I thought I had a picture of my nails with it on them, but I guess I don't. Here it is in the bottle! The image makes it look more orange, but it really a light brown with a lot of shimmer. Another lovely color.
Which brings me to my current color, Sally Hansen's Flirt. It is a deep red-purple with a shimmer finish. I like to look at is as a deep cranberry. In regular lighting, the color looks creme and deep brownish-black, but in the sunlight, you can see the flecks of shimmer and the red-purple tones. It is a really pretty color.
I've had it on for a few days, so the color is not fresh.
One more thing, this:
The Fun Size nail polish collection! It comes with seven colors: an opaque white, a creme black, a silver shimmer, a creme red, an orange shimmer, a green shimmer, and a creme purple. I threw in the base coat I use as well.
I know the green and orange are very sheer and need multiple coats, but other than that, I have not used these on a set of nails.
