Cute Polka Dotted Red Bow Tie Ribbon

I haven't created any new designs as of yet, but I do have some that I did over winter break for Christmas time and New Years. If I don't have any designs to post, I will start posting swatches of some of my colors. Right now my nails are just simple and solid colored, but the blue is so pretty. It's a deep navy by NYC New York Color known as "Skin Tight Denim." Three nails have chipped so far and I applied it on Thursday of last week and it is now Monday. I'm not sure if it was the polish or my top coat, because most of polishes seem to peel lately. Once I finish my current one, I will purchase a different top coat. Anyway, on to the images!

I will work on some themed nails as well.

I now have a nail stamper kit! This was one of my first attempts. They are stars. The idea was a cranberry red with golden stars, but the gold I used was so sheer, which is why it turned out like this. Also, possible dupe(s) for the China Glaze holiday 2012 collection! The green shown is Salon Perfect's "Glitzy Green." I see a dupe for China Glaze's Holly green (can't think of the name). It's just as glittery, but it may be darker or lighter since I have not tried the shade myself, and have only seen swatches. The red is also Salon Perfect in "Crimson Berry."

Edit: Glitzy green is not a dupe for Winter Holly by China Glaze. I saw a bottle of Winter Holly and it does not really compare to glitzy green. Winter Holly is much litter and has a different size/texture of glitter in it. But Glitzy Green is a really pretty color.

For my New Years nails, I used my nail stamper again, this time with zebra stripes.

I'm unsure if you can tell though. The base is Sally Hansen's Golden-I, and the stripes are Sally Hansen's Celeb City. I liked how they turned out even if the camera could not capture it well.

I'm looking to purchase some more nail stamping plates since the ones that come with the kit are limited. Have any ideas or tutorials you would like to see? Let me know!
